Who Is Lay Simone: The Artist Behind the Canvas

I’m Lay Simone, a Pittsburgh based artist and writer who turned sketchbooks into a language of survival. My art began as therapy, a place to speak without words, and over time it became a movement. Every line, every stroke, and every design is a reflection of the quiet fight to reinvent myself and create beauty out of everything that tried to break me.

My Creative Journey

Art found me long before I ever called myself an artist. I started sketching faces and feelings I didn’t yet have words for. It was my way of making peace with chaos and turning pain into color.

Now my work blends fine line sketches, digital design, and emotion driven symbolism. Each piece captures a state of mind: rebirth, faith, resilience, evolution.

I believe creativity isn’t just something we practice, it’s how we heal, rebuild, and grow. Every project I share is part of that story.

Beyond The Canvas

As a writer I dive into topics that mirror my art, self growth, healing, and the messy middle between who we were and who we are becoming. My words are for anyone learning to love themselves through the rebuilding.

Through TheLaySimone.com, I’m creating a world where art, mindset, and self reinvention live side by side, where creativity meets truth.

The Meaning Behind Lay Made It

Lay Made It is more than a brand, it’s my legacy. It’s a reminder that no matter where you start, you can make something that lasts. I want people to feel seen in my art and to know that healing can be loud, messy, and still beautiful.

My mission is to inspire others to keep creating, keep believing, and keep building even when the world feels heavy.
